I loved everything about Durban, Ushaka Merine, Wilson Wharf boat cruising, the North Beach, it was fun and refreshing, the food was great. Transportation with ubers was efficient taking me wherever I wanted to go, they helped me a lot especially it was my first time in Durban, didn't know any place. I will be coming back soon to visit other attractions.
The seaview is the only thing to like, honestly the host can improve her service. This is an apartment not a hotel, access in and out terrible, communication does not state that once you get to Durban you need to go do biometrics to have access to apartment. It was horrible until we ended up booking somewhere else. Kitchen not cleaned properly asked for cleaning lady to come was told she is on lunch , no wifi, host says will bring router in the morning never did.
The hosts, Robyn and Steve were amazing! Greeted us with a warm welcome upon our arrival, and made us feel at home immediately. The room(s) and facilities are very well-kept, clean, and are organised with any essentials that you might need. The area is very quiet. Tucked away in Durban North, it's well-located if you need to pop in and out of Durban for business, or even if you're looking at heading up north towards Umhlanga/Ballito for beach time.
The Hotel has lots of charm. The room that I had stayed in was neat, clean and tidy. All the available items within the room were operational, including the usb charging sockets. The bathroom was cleaned daily and toiletries replaced accordingly. The towels were clean and white. Whilst the hotel has old school charm, it is a perfect destination for a business stay. It is central to durban as well as to pinetown.
The view to the ocean is beautiful an the rooms are big including breakfast staff is always friendly an helpful and with breakfast an one more thing great breakfast always different food of breakfast that is super great because we are always here in Durban until August so sometimes we change hotels to see the difference but this Belaire Suits Hotel so far is the the best thanks.
Entire property and rooms beautifully decorated. It was quiet and private. Even though there was a function downstairs the noise did not reach my room. It’s not on the beach but is quite central to both Durban & Umhlanga. The views from my balcony and our table at breakfast were stunning. Vegetarian(halal) breakfast omelette was delicious.
Great Breakfast buffet. Great selection and excellent service.
Overall very friendly staff who go out of their way to make accommodate requests.
Room was lovely. The pools in the hotel were great. Beautiful garden. Lovely view of the ocean. Excellent location near Umhlanga village. Highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Durban.
The place was close to everything and the setting was really beautiful, which will probably have us being regular visitors everytime we want to have a night out of fun in Durban Central. I highly recommend this place for the comfort and affordability. Yuri was a really awesome and friendly host
The accommodation was very clean and neat. The WiFi Access. The swimming pool. The furniture was classy. The cutlery, the beds were so comfortable. It's near South beach and Ushaka marine world. I would recommend it to everyone who goes to Durban. The service is also excellent 👌
It’s a great hotel, real gem for Durban and centrally located. Noise from Florida Road is not too loud and close to amenities (walking distance). Rooms are clean, big and balcony is large - great way to relax, even when it’s raining. My new spot when I’m in Durban.
The rooms are very spacious and the view to the sea is spectacular. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent! silent and effective in humid Durban. Location is great close to Umhlanga central for shopping and restaurants.
The hotel has a great breakfast and conveniently located near the beach and the Gateway Shopping Theatre. There is a great selection of restaurants within safe walking distance and overall it was a pleasant experience interacting with staff.
Very centrally located in Umhlanga and close to the beach and restaurants. The flat is spacious and has everything required within it for a comfortable stay. The security of the flat is also very good and the housekeeper is friendly.
Everything the hospitality, the location is near the beach and restaurants, the room was nice and big and comfortable, the breakfast was just a cherry on top
